The Friday Feedback Forum

April 3rd, 2009 - filed under: Furthermore » Feedback

Oi there! It’s time to get interactive again! This is a community we’re building here, so this is your weekly space for comments, critiques, thoughts, support, and suggestions.

Now that the grand RAW trial has been completed, where would you like to see the focus? (the food? the fashion? the farm?) What sorts of articles would you like to read? What are YOU interested in?

This is about you, so let your voice be heard! The Feedback Forum will be hanging out here at the top of the page, all weekend. So if you have an idea or a question or you just want to introduce yourself and say ‘Oi!’, this is the place to do it. And as always, have a wonderful weekend!

Tried the st patricks day smoothie, tastes nice but even after food processing then blending i’m still lacking the smooth times :(
I need a big industrial blender.

@ Bartlebee – Yeah, it’s hard to get the greens completely broken up. I don’t mind the ‘bits’, but if you want it completely smooth you’ll need something like a vita-mix (which is at the top of my ‘someday’ dream list, oh I wish oh I wish!!) =)

But I’m glad you liked the flavors. It’s lots of fun to play around!

Hi there! I just stumbled onto your blog and most of what you say is exactly what is in my mind, only you word it better. I am a lover of farmers markets, fresh grown fruits and vegetables and to some extent fashion (currently on an earring making kick). I live in San Diego and find it hard to find others who are like minded and it is wonderful to stumble upon someone who thinks the way I do. I have often thought of moving to Oregon (mostly because of the visits to the houses my Aunt and Uncle had there and the memories of fresh, wild blackberries, yum!). I currently live in a one bedroom apartment with no patio or balcony but have recently cleared out a spot in my parents backyard to attempt urban farming. It is a little overwhelming but I am trying to be optimistic. I love your tips for the environment, gardening, and your recipes. Please keep up the great work!

@ Allison – It makes my day to hear you’ve found my site to be inspiring. That’s exactly why I’m doing this! I definitely know what it’s like to feel like the only one thinking about these things, but luckily the internet is a great way for lie-minded people to connect. And that’s great you’re trying to get a little garden going – let me know if you have any questions or anything. You can also consider growing kitchen herbs and small veggies in your apartment, if you have some good sunny windows. You’d be surprised how much you can grow on a sill!

Thanks so much for your comment, like I said that makes my day. All the motivation I need to keep this going. =)

@ vemteamlomb – Welcome! I’m so glad you like the site. But, the link you posted is for this very post, the Feedback Forum, which I think is probably not what you intended. I’d love to know which post is the one you are most interested in.

Thanks for the feedback!
